Melissa Goodwin, CEO
Melissa blends executive leadership and product innovation, having led teams across healthcare systems. With a foundation in chemistry and a passion for natural ingredients, she co-created Magnetic Mail—automation software unifying LinkedIn, SMS, and email outreach. In 2025, she and CRO Steve Schmidt launched SpotLight, a platform for business owners to share unfiltered stories. Originating in Sioux Falls, it has since grown into a national brand. As the strategic force behind 50+ podcast episodes, Melissa crafts storytelling frameworks and scalable content systems. Her chemistry roots also inspired Lone Tree Tallow, a skincare line launched in fall 2025.
Steve Schmidt, CRO
Steve is a globally recognized sales expert known for his raw, direct style. A speaker at 18+ international events, he champions a shift from cold outbound to content-led systems, using YouTube as a Central Content Hub. His strategy blends long- and short-form video with precision ad targeting and MagneticMail retargeting—creating one of the most talked-about underground sales systems for small businesses. Steve co-hosts SpotLight Sioux Falls with Melissa and launched "SpotLight Shorts" in summer 2025, generating jaw-dropping sales and nationwide buzz.
